Shooting started on 2nd January 2008 in Pinewood and London, and continued to Panama and Chile during February and March. After shooting in Italy and Austria, the production completed shooting at Pinewood in June.
The world premiere took place on October 29th 2008 in London’s Odeon Leicester Square in front of Princes William and Harry, where hundreds of Bond fans flocked hoping to glimpse Daniel Craig and the other stars from the film.
The film sees Bond seeking solace – and revenge – for the death of Vesper in Casino Royale and throughout the film he carries her Algerian love knot left behind at their hotel in Venice.
