Bond 23: Michael G. Wilson says work has started

It was only back in April when Bond producer Michael G. Wilson indicated that any real work on Bond 23 was yet to begin, but the story seemed to be different last week according to an article published by the The Sun, which caught up with Wilson at the Ivor Novello Awards in London. The article quotes Wilson as saying:

“I would love to get Duffy to sing the next tune. I think she is wonderful. Amy Winehouse would be good too.

We have started work on the new film, which I can’t say anything about. Daniel Craig is very keen to get going”.

It isn’t much to go on, but as MI6 points out, it could mean the film is due for a 2010 release rather than the 2011 feared by many Bond fans.
