David Arnold podcast available online

Neatly dovetailing with our current series on the James Bond soundtracks, David Arnold was recently invited speak after a concert by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra in which they played music from several of his film scores including Casino Royale, which is now available as a podcast.

Arnold’s credits include Stargate, Independence Day, Godzilla, Hot Fuzz, Zoolander, Little Britain and the last five James Bond films and in his talk covered such topics as how he creates a score for a film; working with directors and dealing the the movie business and what it’s like to write music for 007.
