Jaguar C-X75 for Bond villain?

The villain in SPECTRE is to drive a Jaguar C-X75 supercar according to report in Autocar. The car was originally planned on being powered by an 850 bhp hybrid engine but the project cancelled at the end of 2012.

However, work is reportedly under way on the project to prepare it instead for filming but with a supercharged 5 litre V8 engine.

While Jaguar has not confirmed the car will be involved in SPECTRE, they have not denied it either, merely saying that an official announcement conceening the use of Jaguar cars will be made next year.

If it is driven by the villain, as was pointed out to me on Twitter, it dovetails in nicely with the brand’s “Good to be Bad” campaign for the F-Type coupé which features British actors playing villains.
