Quantum of Solace has become the highest grossing 007 film in North America after overtaking Casino Royale’s $167.1 million gross box office figure.

Today is the day that Bond fans in the United States and Canada have been waiting for, with the release of Quantum of Solace on the big screen.

Quantum Of Solace, the 22nd James Bond adventure, made box office history for a second time this weekend as it opened to an incredible £15.4million, at the UK box office making it the biggest weekend opening of all time. This smashes the previous record held by Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which took £14.93million.

From today it is possible to travel with James Bond to all the film locations of Quantum Of Solace with Google Earth. These locations play a crucial role in every Bond movie; it contributes to the escapism of reality and brings you directly to the world of Bond where mystery, glamour and pursuits are central.
